Located within the estate of one of the most prominent and historic families in Tuscany, this luxury vacation rental dates back to the 14th century, when the tower, which is now the central part of the house, was built as an external defence of the city. With its rich and colourful history, including being owned by a Grandmaster of the Knights of Malta, and later serving as the birthplace of Paolino Tribbioli, a prominent Catholic clergyman who played a key role in bringing the Catholic Church to India, this villa offers a unique glimpse into the past. The current owners fell in love with this beautiful villa and renovated it in 2017 to create a luxury holiday villa. 

The interior of this luxury villa rental is both beautiful and simple, featuring the original features of the house as well as antique pieces. The ground floor boasts original clay and marble tiles, and wooden ceiling beams are exposed throughout. Guests can enjoy a cosy evening with a good book and a glass of wine in the sitting room, in front of the antique fireplace. Upstairs, the spacious and comfortable bedrooms all feature AC, while the bathrooms are adorned with travertine tiles, stone sinks, and high-quality fittings. One of the bathrooms even has a free-standing tub for ultimate relaxation.

Outside, guests can take in the terraced gardens, with green lawns and old trees providing natural shade. The outdoor patio overlooks the pool, with the Tuscan landscape serving as a stunning backdrop. This is the perfect spot to enjoy an Italian aperitivo as you watch the sunset!
