At the rear of the house you have an attractive terrace with the spacious private pool its star attraction. You have sun loungers and seating beside the pool, as well as an outdoor shower. At the side of the house, there’s a secluded outdoor dining space. Step inside and you’ll discover a light and roomy interior. The main living space has a lounge area with two sofas, coffee table and flatscreen TV. A dining table and chairs are found in the same open-plan area, as is an impressively equipped kitchen. You’ll have a large fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, breakfast bar with stool seating and much more to look forward to. Three spacious bedrooms can be found upstairs. There are two double bedrooms and a twin room that’s ideal for children to share. Two of the bedrooms have the use of a balcony overlooking the pool and gardens. A family bathroom with bathtub is located on this floor, with another WC downstairs. Nearby you will find many restaurant and bar terraces located close to the many beaches of the Protaras area. The resort offers excellent water-sport facilities, while children can enjoy attractions including a mini-golf course, aquarium and, in nearby Ayia Napa, a variety of amusement parks. Cape Greco National Park is the standout area of natural beauty in the region, and only around 10 minutes’ drive away. There are sea caves, a blue lagoon and areas of forest that are perfect for walks and cycle rides.

LOCATION DETAILS
The area around Protaras has some of Cyprus’ best beaches, and it contains plenty of surprises too. The dramatic Cape Greco Peninsula and National Forest Park are just down the coast, while nearby Ayia Napa offers so much more than clubbing with some great family-friendly attractions. Stunning Cape Greco is a favourite of water-sports lovers, with snorkelling, off-boat swimming and cliff diving among popular pursuits. One of its highlights is the Blue Lagoon – the rugged rocks and crystal waters make it worth seeking out. The Cape Greco National Park also offers some wonderful hiking opportunities, with routes you can follow so you don’t miss significant monuments or sights. The Aphrodite Trail is one route which incorporates Cape Greco. Protaras, just a short drive north of Cape Greco, is known for its wonderful beaches. You will find lots more opportunities to try water-sports such as scuba-diving, kayaking and jet-skiing, with Green Bay just one of the popular diving spots. Perhaps the best known of the area’s beaches, Fig Tree Bay, has been voted one of Europe’s best, which can mean it gets pretty busy. The good news is there will always be somewhere quieter, such as pretty Serena Bay or nearby Nacho Bay. There are other ways to get to know the area, with regular boat trips and catamaran cruises departing from Protaras. You can also head inland on food and wine tours which take you up into the mountains to try local favourites. Nearby Ayia Napa is a great resort for families, with lots for kids to see and do. It has amusement parks, a water-park and beach playgrounds, as well as loads of places to eat, drink and shop. Its historic sights, including a 16th-century monastery and the ancient Makronissos Tombs, are well worth a look too, as is the impressive, sea-themed Thalassa Museum. Also diverse in its attractions, Cyprus’ third-largest city, Larnaca, is within reach – you can get there from Protaras in around 50 minutes. It has areas of natural beauty like its Salt Lake, historic buildings including a medieval fort, and entertainment venues galore. Along the way, you might like to visit the CyHerbia Botanical Park, where you can lose yourselves in a labyrinthine maze, or Ayia Napa’s WaterWorld – in fact, with only 20 minutes separating them, you could do both.
