LOCATION DETAILS
Brasilito is a charming town between Flamingo and Huacas with multiple restaurants, shops and hotels. The Masala Indian Restaurant is excellent, and the Patagonia del Mar steakhouse is very popular. There are various small convenience stores and the well-stocked Super Conchal. Sea Star Souvenirs is a great place to buy gifts.

Downtown Brasilito has a large, open field that is primarily used as a parking lot for people walking to Playa Conchal. Conchal is sometimes called the most beautiful beach in Costa Rica, and it’s well worth a visit, but you have to walk about half a kilometer from Brasilito to get there. This field is also used for seasonal fairs and rodeos, with a temporary bullring that’s erected every year in February.

Horseback riding is another popular activity here. You’ll often see horses tied up on the beach waiting for customers who want to ride.

Brasilito is small enough that you can easily get around on foot. Visit some of the lively bars at night, and you may feel like a party is breaking out everywhere at once.
