This spacious, contemporary villa is set over two floors, with the rooms lined with floor to ceiling windows and sliding doors on to the garden and terraces. The beautiful, ever-changing colours of the expansive sky pour in to the home and also light up the bright white exterior façade. On the ground floor there are two living spaces where you can sip a glass of local wine and listen to music together in the evenings. If you visit in the winter months, the sitting room with cosy sofas and an open-fireplace is the perfect spot to gather, while on warmer days there is a sun room with a dining table and sofas overlooking the garden. You can opt to prepare meals indoors in the fully-fitted kitchen or outdoors using the summer kitchen which boasts a pizza oven! There are nine bedrooms available where you can rest and recharge after busy days exploring Puglia’s sights. The ground floor is where you will find the majority of these rooms; there are four rooms with double beds on the ground floor and an additional three bedrooms with double sofa beds. The rooms with sofa beds can either be utilised as bedrooms or as extra living rooms for each of the other bedrooms, depending on the size of your group. These bedrooms all offer en-suite bathrooms with many opening out on to a furnished terrace area. The remaining two bedrooms are located upstairs and as this space has a kitchenette and a terrace of its own it could be used like a separate apartment by a family or a group of friends wishing to maintain a bit of their own space. The rural area around the home is ideal for spending time outdoors in nature; near to the villa you are able to find horse treks, bike hire, tennis, fishing and water sports. If you would prefer a more relaxing day then why not head to a nearby vineyard for a tour and to sample the delicious wines. The nearest wine tastings take place just 2km away from the villa. When you need to pick up some pastries for breakfast there are a few small shops close by but you may prefer to drive the 3.5km to the amazing town of Polignano a Mare, one of Puglia’s best-loved destinations. The town has a fantastic range of shops, cafes and restaurants, with everything from family run trattorias to fine dining eateries available here. There is also a picture-postcard old town with maze-like streets leading out on to bustling piazzas where you can visit a modern art gallery and ancient churches. Most people visit Polignano a Mare for its beaches which are stunning; you could visit a quiet beach like Ponte dei Lapilli or head to Bari’s most photographed beach, the breath-taking Cala Porto Beach.

Perfectly located within hectares of olive groves and sweet smelling lavender, this fine villa is an idyllic place to stay which is within easy reach of Puglia’s verdant hills and also the brilliant town of Polignano a Mare which is home to some of this areas best beaches. Though the villa enjoys a peaceful spot amongst farmland and vineyards you will not be isolated here and can make the most of the gorgeous natural landscape as well as spending time in Polignano a Mare where you will find your nearest amenities. A great way to see this staggering landscape is to take a magical hot air balloon ride. Setting off early in the morning you will be able to see Puglia come to life as you pass over incredible mountain scenery, whitewashed Trulli towns and along the coast. If heights are not your thing then why not book on to a boat trip which depart from Polignano a Mare throughout the day. The boats will take you in to caves and swimming coves and offer you the most amazing views of the town, which is best appreciated from the water. Polignano a Mare is located only 4.5km away from the villa; close enough that you could spend an evening in one of the town’s chic cocktail bars or exclusive nightclubs and travel back home by taxi. As well as bars, in town there is a brilliant range of cafes and restaurants with traditional Italian eateries sitting side by side with international restaurants such as ramen and tapas restaurants. If you would prefer to do your own cooking then you can stock up on ingredients here at the supermarkets, quaint shops and the weekly market which is held every Thursday and sells fresh vegetables, baked goods and handicrafts. No visit to Polignano a Mare would be complete without exploring its incredible, Blue Flag awarded beaches which are one of the main draws to tourists who flock here to gaze upon Cala Porto Beach which is beautifully framed by limestone cliffs. If this beach is a little busy then fear not as there are many quieter swimming spots just a short stroll away. As the afternoon heat hits, you may enjoy a little respite from the sun, why not take this time to explore the Museum of Contemporary Art or one of the old town’s historic chapels. Polignano a Mare is just one of many fantastic villages, towns and cities which Puglia has to offer, close by you can also visit Monopoli, an ancient port town which is 11km away, the Trulli town of Alberobello which is 26km away and the busy city of Bari which is 37km away.
