Featuring a flat-lawned garden planted with fan palms and fragrant frangipani trees beside an 8 x 5-metre swimming pool, this fine villa, whose name translates to pretty and sweet, is a sophisticated and enchanting tropical property. The dining room with its integrated kitchen allows the pool and garden to take centre stage, thanks to full-wall windows framing the room. This carefully crafted space, with its textured marble floor and glass-topped dining table for ten, is ideal for entertaining. The glass doors can be closed for air-conditioned comfort or fully opened to create a moving air flow and a semi-open-air ambience, cooled by the natural breeze. Positioned at the far end of the room, the fully equipped kitchen is flanked by a marble island, which is fitted with an oven and serves as a breakfast bar with four chairs. The kitchen is also equipped with a three-burner gas hob, microwave, juicer, Nespresso coffee machine, drinking water dispenser, and a dishwasher—everything that you or your private chef will need in order to prepare delicious meals. The stone pool terrace is furnished on one side with four loungers and two sunbrellas, next to a wall displaying a hand-carved stone frieze, which is testament to the skill of Balinese craftsmen. On the other side is an al fresco dining table for six. A small private room with a massage bed rests beside the pool terrace, and from here a set of polished marble steps descends into a lower-ground-floor gym, equipped with a treadmill, bench, rowing machine, monitors, weights and exercise balls. The air-conditioned lounge-room also offers the choice of tropical open-air living beside the pool terrace. Furnished with a semi-circular, segmented shell sofa and chair, a white marble coffee table, zebra-stripe rug and wall-mounted 70-inch Smart TV with Netflix, this room is designed for cosy movie nights. A guest washroom is also situated on the ground floor. There is something quite astonishing about waking up in a white bed within an all-white room, with a view of the garden. Three of the bedrooms, including the master, are on the upper level, while the fourth bedroom is on the ground floor. These graceful sleeping spaces have been enhanced with elegant furnishings—comfortable desks and chairs, carved stone lampstands and toe-pleasing floor rugs. Each has a king bed or super-king. All four ensuite bathrooms are fitted with powerful rain-showers, while the master bathroom is additionally fitted with a bathtub and twin washbasins.
