The hippy-chic region of Herdade da Comporta is comprised of seven tranquil villages including Carvalhal, Comporta, Brejos da Carregueira, Carrasqueira, Possanco, Muda and Sol Troia. Guests enjoy trips to the nearby towns of Troia, Grandola and Alcacer do Sal. The Comporta region is known for its surf, wild beaches, watersports, hiking and fabulous beach restaurants. It is a place for those that love the outdoors, love nature and love simplicity. The nearest village to this villa is the charming Carvalhal. Like many of the villages, Carvalhal is surrounded by pine forests and enchanting rice fields that change the colours of the landscape according to the seasons. This fine villa offers such a warm and inviting ambience. It is clear to see that the owners love this property. All in dazzling white, its walls are decorated with a fabulous collection of vibrant modern art and its shelves are full of colourful knick-knacks and paperbacks. The colour pops work like magic and blend beautifully not only with the bright white but also against the natural beams and wooden ceilings everywhere. The living area is open plan in design with a pine staircase heading up to a mezzanine level. Comfy sofas sit opposite a large wall-mounted television which is surrounded by a gorgeous shelf system. This living space flows seamlessly to the pine dining area with its large table and pretty dresser. In turn this leads to your pretty kitchen with its excellent appliances. This villa is a very sociable property. There are three bedrooms in total, two doubles and a children’s room with a trundle bed. The doubles both offer beautifully dressed beds, striking artwork and gorgeous ceilings. The children’s room is very attractive with a single trundle bed that can pull out to sleep another child and attractive mobiles and accessories. The villa boasts two beautifully finished bathrooms, again with some bright colour pops. The mezzanine level offers another living area, ideal if you have children that may want to chill or play a game away from the adults after a busy day sightseeing or on the beach. There is another television, a comfy corner sofa and many books. The outside space of this fine villa is delightful and very special. There are two shaded areas for alfresco dining and lounging. The pergolas are beautiful and enjoy drapes that frame the pretty garden views. There is even a hammock hanging from one of them. Don’t all rush at once for this dreamy spot to enjoy your holiday book! The garden is well established and very generous in size for some family fun. There is no swimming pool at this property but you can walk or drive to the beach very quickly!
