The villa sits in a clearing in the woods, surrounded by ancient oak trees that shade the lawn in front of the house. Further away, the expanse of fields begins, offering a view of the valley with Mount Amiata in the background, all the way to the fortress of Radicofani rising above the distant blue hills.

On the ground floor, the former stable has been converted into a large summer living room that leads directly to the garden. The room is flooded with light, which enters through seven windows. The former mangers are now benches with cushions. An open fireplace and comfortable sofas and armchairs make this room pleasantly informal and welcoming. A double bedroom with ensuite bathroom overlooks the garden and has been adapted for use by a disabled person.

A Renaissance-style travertine spiral staircase leads to the upper floor. Here, a central room with windows on both sides and a traditional fireplace opens onto a large kitchen made of local travertine. An old beam frames a hood that runs the length of the wall, complete with a waist-high fireplace for grilling. Each bedroom has its own bathroom.

The shaded garden was designed to blend naturally into the landscape. Climbing roses and hydrangeas, lavender, cistus, rosemary, and honeysuckle blend with the ancient oaks and fruit trees. Meals can be enjoyed under a pergola covered with wisteria, roses, and vines. A 10 x 5 meter swimming pool is hidden at the end of the garden.

The small annex, once a pigsty, chicken coop, and ox stable, is now a comfortable loft featuring original trusses and a large fireplace. It is rented together with this villa to ensure exclusive use of the pool. It features two bedrooms, two small bathrooms, and a living room with an open-plan kitchen.
