Built with a strong focus on sustainability, the villa is perfect for those who are eco-conscious, constructed with a recyclable light steel frame with highly insulated walls, whilst solar panels heat the water and the building, and all wastewater is biologically purified and reused in the garden. Wood, natural stone, concrete floors and white marble depict the stunning interiors, creating a sense of calm that makes it almost impossible not to relax! It is the fine details that make this villa truly special, with the furniture and wardrobes handmade of recycled wood and the plates and dishes all locally sourced and made by Portuguese craftsmen. Spread out over one floor there are five bright bedrooms and four stylish bathrooms; one with a bath and all with elegant walk-in showers. The main living space is open plan, with huge kitchen windows that open to the pool, creating the indoor-outdoor living of dreams. The sleek kitchen with its white marble worktop and breakfast bar comes from the Alentejo, making cooking a real joy. Either side of the kitchen there is chic dining tables; one indoor and the second outdoor, both large enough to seat your whole group. The living room maintains the same laid-back luxury aesthetic, with a sofa and lounge chairs curated to create a social atmosphere where you can enjoy long afternoons together with your loved ones. Outside the views stretch out over the rural surroundings to the ocean beyond. The villa is surrounded by nature, just minutes from town and the Algarve’s most stunning beaches Praia da Marinha and Praia da Benagil. Located at the heart of the Algarve, guests can enjoy everything from the gorgeous coastline to the beautiful Monchique hills. For a day on the beach, there are endless strips of sand to choose from, all within a short drive or for the energetic a 45-minute walk away. Praia da Marinha is just a 15-minute drive where you can take in the dramatic views from the clifftops on a trekking trail. From the pristine beach, a cave leads you through to the 'hidden' Praia do Buraco! Although there are a few facilities in the immediate area, the best shops and restaurants can be found a short drive away in Carvoeiro. Once a small fishing village, Carvoeiro has developed into a popular tourist town that boasts banks, restaurants, shops and a post office. From the town, a clifftop boardwalk takes you to the Algar Seco rock formation, and you can arrange a boat tour, gaining a different perspective on the rocky landscapes that make up this beautiful coastline. Well known for its excellent wines and delicious food, we would always recommend exploring the Algarve’s popular gastronomy! From fresh seafood to Portuguese delicacies, there are plenty of dining opportunities to entice every guest, or you can always purchase some freshly caught seafood, preparing it back at the villa yourselves!
