The villa is set in the magical region of Lunigiana, between Tuscany and Liguria, just a short drive from the famed resorts of the Versilia coast, the cities of Lucca and Pisa and a few kms drive from the “Gulf of Poets” and Cinque Terre. This charming restored farmhouse offers plenty of traditional Tuscan charm, from the views to the architecture and ample opportunity to relax, indoors and out. Prepare dinner on the outdoor barbecue, eat at the table on the covered veranda, then adjourn to the daybeds for a glass of wine.

The Space: The villa’s common areas have a stereo controlled by phone, Wi-Fi access, and satellite television. Beamed ceilings, stone walls and shuttered windows provide a traditional envelope for a unique collection of furnishings, from modern sideboards to Tuscan daybeds. In the living room, comfortable sofas are clustered around a cozy fireplace, while matching stone walls feel warm and welcoming.

The kitchen is outfitted with a pretty slate top plus amenities like crockery and cutlery for 10 people with cooking utensils, pots pans and baking trays. Air conditioning is available in each of the villa’s four bedrooms. Each bedroom provides comfortable, king or super-king size beds. Two rooms can be converted to twin single beds. Each room has an ensuite bathroom and french windows opening out to stunning views of Tuscany. A cot is available for infants.
