Description
This fine villa is a jewel set in the western Sicilian coast. The property is immersed in a private oasis halfway between Scopello and Castellammare del Golfo just a few kilometers from the Zingaro Nature Reserve. Crossing the gate, the view opens onto the vast estate that descends to the sea through a wonderful Mediterranean scrub.
The large house is spread over three levels, two of which are above ground for a total of 570 square meters located a few steps from the sea.
The ground floor is dedicated to conviviality with its large double-height living room that overlooks the external loggia sheltered from the sun through the large windows projecting the guest into the infinity of the sea.
The large kitchen with central island and its stone arches is fully equipped and features a stone oven for bread and pizzas.
On the floor there is also a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom also equipped with an independent access from the outside that allows for an additional degree of privacy, a study with sofa bed and its own bathroom and a service bathroom.
The stairs connect this floor both to the lower floor where we find a large laundry room and to the upper floor where we find the master bedroom, one of the most incredible rooms of the property, like a house within the house it overlooks three different sides and contains the walk-in closet, the bathroom with tub and shower, the separate toilet and one of the most unique views of the Sicilian coast that extends endlessly to the sea.
The other two bedrooms on the floor overlook the south side, both with en-suite bathrooms and access to the large terrace.
Outside you spend time surrounded by nature and extraordinary views, the living area facing the sea is protected from the sun by a large Pompeian under which sofas and tables transform the outside into the main space of the house.
Where the roof ends but the base continues, a large “conversation pit” has been dug with a large brazier/barbecue in the center to watch the sea at sunset in front of the fire.
The lawn and plants surrounding the unique circular swimming pool, a mirror of water where the magic of the infinity makes the border between the end of the pool and the beginning of the sea disappear.
The path inside the property leads directly to the Fossa dello Stinco, one of the most spectacular descents to the sea in the area.
