This villa in Surfside/Potrero is an elegant, fabulously equipped 3-bedroom, 2-bath home with a private pool, just a 5-minute walk from the beach. The living room and kitchen share a large common area, with three sliding-glass doors overlooking the pool area and back yard. There is a wall-mounted TV, blue fabric sofa and loveseat, straight-backed chair, and a guanacaste coffee table, with beach-themed artwork. Three spacious bedrooms all have newer air-conditioning units and ceiling fans, and all have ample closet space. The upstairs master bedroom has a king-size bed, an attached bathroom, a large walk-in closet and a television. A sliding-glass door upstairs opens onto a large private balcony with a small table and two chairs, plus a rocking chair. The view is of palm, guanacaste and plumeria trees, hibiscus, bougainvillea and other flowering plants, with mountains in the distance. The two downstairs bedrooms have sliding-glass doors that access the backyard pool area and rancho. One has a queen bed and one has two twins. The two bathrooms have tiled floors, large mirrors, ceiling fans, and plenty of counter space. The upstairs bath has a shower and tub, while the downstairs bath has a large walk-in shower. The kitchen features stainless-steel appliances, including a dishwasher, microwave and a newer refrigerator and oven. It has granite countertops, island seating for two, plenty of cabinet and counter space, and even air conditioning. A rectangular dining table made of local guanacaste wood seats six. A beautiful blue pool anchors the back yard, along with the rancho, a roofed shelter with outdoor dining furniture and ceiling fan. Behind the rancho is a picnic table next to a barbecue grill. This 560-square-meter home is surrounded by 7-foot walls, with a decorative gated iron wall in front. It has outdoor cameras and an outdoor/indoor alarm system. Indoor sliding-glass doors have removable door bars for added security. The house has a separate laundry room with washer and dryer, as well as an attached single-car garage. The home is equipped with good Wi-Fi. Pets are welcome with a small cleaning fee and a deposit.

Surfside is a delightful little town on the southern outskirts of Potrero (between Flamingo and Las Catalinas). It’s very popular with both visitors and expats, boasting a three-block main street lined with restaurants, bars, shops, tour agencies, a grocery store and a pharmacy. 

There’s good eating and entertainment at the famous Perlas Bar, the Bahía del Sol Hotel and the Costa Rica Sailing Center, which serves food and drink poolside right in front of Potrero Beach. 

A string of other gorgeous beaches are a short drive away, as is the brand-new, state-of-the-art Marina Flamingo.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS
We welcome your furry friends at our property! Before you book, each pet must be verified and approved based on breed and size (max 35 lbs.), accompanied by a recent photo. A refundable pet fee of $200 per stay, along with an additional cleaning fee of $50 + 13% per pet, is required to ensure our home remains pristine for all guests. We allow up to two pets per reservation. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times in public areas within the property grounds. Certain properties and complexes may have specific rules and registration requirements. Pets need to be verified at least 24 hours prior to check-in. If guests arrive at check-in with unverified pets, access to the property will be denied.
