Description
Designed by world renowned Architect Rolf Blakstadt, a scholar and purveyor of Ibicenco architecture of Spain, a style of Phoenician and Carthaginian origin which dates thousands of years. Rolf first sailed to Ibiza in 1956 observing “white, pyramidal, a terraced hill rising from the sea with tier upon tier of crystalline cubical houses. They seemed more vegetable than mineral, the softened contours appearing to grow organically out of the ground.” The Blakstadt firms long history, founded by father and carried on by sons, centers on preserving the rich cultural heritage and traditional building methods of Ibiza. Their signature; a harmonious interrelation of interior and exterior spaces, an integration into the surrounding landscape “without losing the essence of the architecture, or compromising the beauty of the land.”
With this villa boasting the highest elevation on Providenciales, the land provided a rare opportunity to cascade the home into the hillside and expose incredible ocean views throughout the property. 230’ of oceanfront opens to the Princess Alexandra National Park, where snorkelers delight in discovering corals teaming with fish and lobsters. The surrounding gardens feature bright pink bougainvillea and florals such as desert rose, hibiscus, and frangipani nestled amongst towering palms, neem trees, and various native Caribbean species. Homage to the Mediterranean can be found in the mini orchard of fruit trees, including bananas, coconuts, star-fruits, Bahamian cherry, breadfruit, and kefir lime.
The interiors retain the aesthetic of the exteriors and the distinctly Blakstad design: bright whitewashed walls, weathered wood pergolas, central fluted pillars, and hand-hewn cabinetry with bold hardware. White limestone floorings and smooth concrete features, such as showers and arched niches, give the subtle impression that the entire home is organically molded from clay. The simplicity is offset by a carefully curated art collection gathered from all corners of the world. Colorful textiles add softness and visual interest throughout the nearly 7,000sq ft main house built for family life.
The heart of the home is a tiered series of spaces beginning at an impressive, Murano glass chandelier-lit atrium, which flows into dining, then living, then outdoor living, and finally an 82’ infinity edge pool and the uninterrupted horizon beyond. This space is flanked by a kitchen, media center, and playroom to the west, a well-equipped gym, bath, library, and games room with a billiards table and competition-level foosball table to the east. Four upper-level bedrooms with en suite baths are bathed in ample natural light from expansive windows or patio doors, exposing spectacular sea views. In addition to the main house, the property offers a 1,600sq ft two-bedroom guest annex and a seaside oasis comprised of a thatched roof shaded dining pavilion with a kitchenette, a yoga deck, and a built-in fire pit. This property is well suited for spirited guests seeking a truly bespoke experience.

The cost of electricity in the Turks & Caicos Islands has always been very expensive. This is further exacerbated by recent global increases in fuel pricing which have put this cost at an all-time high.
All guests are asked to be mindful of their energy consumption and particularly as it relates to Air Conditioning (AC). If you are running the AC, please ensure doors and windows remain closed.
The owner of your vacation rental will cover up to $105.00/day (one hundred five US Dollars) for electricity consumption. On the last day of this rental, the meter will be read and any amount over this allowance will be charged against the security deposit of the lessee at a rate of $0.60 per KWH.
