When we think of a Mexican meal, we think of something simple and quick. In Mexico, people like to live life at a slower pace and enjoy their company, their surroundings and most importantly, their food. While some of the restaurants are more casual, you will experience a true Mexican dining experience at all of them.

El Peregrino

A casual, small restaurant, noted for its attentive service, hearty portions, and reasonable prices. One recent diner summed it up perfectly: ”We wanted something more authentic so we walked a few extra blocks up from the marina to this lovely bistro-like restaurant. We didn't make a reservation but were greeted warmly and sat promptly. The meal was exquisite and the service was delightful. The highlight of the trip!”

Los Tres Gallos

Set in a courtyard filled with tangerines, mango, and other fruit trees, you would be hard pressed to find a more romantic spot. Named for three legendary actors from the golden age of Mexican cinema, Los Tres Gallos features authentic Mexican cuisine and is particularly known for their delicious mole sauce. Generous portions are served by attentive staff and prices are always reasonable.

La Golondrina

Featuring an outdoor garden with magical lights at night, La Golondrina is noted for its fresh seafood, true Mexican cuisine, and wine selection. A recent diner noted, “Great atmosphere sitting outside under the trees. The food is excellent and the service is friendly and top notch.” It doesn’t get better than that!

Here, you’ll find meals prepared with the freshest local ingredients, as well as a great selection of adult beverages.

With a twist on Mexican cuisine, Pitahayas opened their doors in 1995 with the concept of Mexican-Asian fusion cuisine. It proved so popular that many other chefs have adopted this style of cooking. For the original experience, however, Pitahayas is the only place to go. In addition to a phenomenal meal, the setting overlooking the Sea of Cortez is the stuff of dreams.

La Lupita Taco & Mezcal

A casual, inviting restaurant located in downtown Cabo, La Lupita Taco & Mezcal is the perfect spot to grab an outdoor table, order some of the seriously amazing tacos and sample the distinctly Mexican agave-spirit of Mezcal. Brings your friends!

The restaurant at the Chileno Bay Resort & Residences is a feast for the eyes, with sophisticated and a stunning location overlooking the Sea of Cortés. Though, as soon as you taste your perfectly crafted meal here, you may just forget all about the scenery.
