Ottocento is an impressive villa which offers a combination of a quiet villa in the countryside and a 15 minutes drive from the center of Florence. This villa provides full privacy, comfort, high quality and breathtaking view of the Tuscan countryside including the hills of the Chianti area. The villa is designed in the 19th century by Giuseppe Poggi, one of the most famous architects of Florence during that period. The closest town is called Impruneta, well known because of its terracotta and olive oil. All six bedrooms, equipped with air conditioning, are decorated in a unique and elegant way giving the guests a calm, warm welcome at the villa. For music and film lovers there is a piano and a movie screen in two of the living areas. The spacious garden, designed by the architect Pietro Porcinai, is fenced in and gives the possibility to have relaxing walks on the grounds or enjoying the 16 meters long swimming pool. Ottocento is situated on a short drive from Florence, therefore excellent for having daytrips to the city full of art and history.
