Important: Chalet Martini is situated in the Swiss Alps, this may sound obvious but what is very important is that the weather is changeable and conditions can deteriorate very quickly. The chalet is situated at nearly 1800 metres and the snow fall can be very heavy meaning that vehicular access to the front door may not always be possible until the snow plough has done his job, you will always be able to get to the bottom of the driveway but the last 20m should only be driven if you are sure of the conditions.
Please make sure that your vehicle is fitted with winter tyres and has snow chains, this is the law in Switzerland and this is for a very good reason. This chalet is no different from many in the region and thought must be given to the environment that you are visiting.
