The Coachella Valley is also home to golf-centric communities like Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, Indian Wells, and La Quinta. Indio is perhaps best known for the annual Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, (commonly referred to as Coachella or the Coachella Festival).
