Salvador Dali House Museum is located just outside Cadaqués, in a series of converted fisherman's cottages with exquisite sea views. This was Dali's home for 50 years and is as eccentric as you might expect.  Greco/Roman Ruins at Empuries offer such spectacular views of the Mediterranean that this mini-Pompeii is worth the visit even if you're not a fan of ancient ruins. In what is one of the most important archaeological sites in Spain, vast and incredibly detailed remains of what was once a Greek (and later Roman) town survive. Stunningly intact floor mosaics and remains of an amphitheatre, forum and various villas give a glimpse into life in ancient times.
