This beautiful villa, which has been recently and lovingly restored, is set amongst the pine woods and has sweeping views over the Chiana valley to Cortona and Lago Trasimeno. The ground floor of the villa has a dining area with table seating for 8 people, a fully equipped kitchenette with dishwasher, gas burner, electric stove, a delightful sunken living area with sofas and fireplace and a French door which leads to the outside area and to the gazebo. This level also has 1 double bedroom (queen size) and a bathroom with a shower. A glass staircase leads to a mezzanine floor where another living room overlooks the ground floor. The sleeping area consists of 3 double bedrooms, two of which has an ensuite bathroom. One bedroom has access to a terrace, which overlooks the valley and the Lago Trasimeno. This same bedroom has a mezzanine floor with an extra single bed ideal for a child. Another bedroom has access to the outside. There is also a separate bathroom with shower. The gardens boast colourful flower-beds and well maintained lawns, a wooden pergola, barbecue and wood-burning oven, all designed for guests to enjoy the al-fresco dining experience. There is also a natural swimming pond, a beautiful natural bio swimming pool purified by lily pads and plants instead of chemicals. Adjacent to the villa is another building which has been turned into a “get together” area which consists of a large table and benches, maintaining a rustic feel. It has its own kitchenette and a very big fireplace which dominates the room, which is ideal for family reunions or groups of friends. There is a removable glass-top roof construction over the pool, which in summer can be easily moved aside or the pool can be covered again when it's raining. The water can be heated during winter, ensuring guests can enjoy a nice dip in the pool even in the cooler months. The pool also has a hydro-massage area and in the evening lights can be turned on, creating a colourful and relaxing ambience for guests.
