Located high on the mountain in the private Spanish Peaks community, Bear Den Lodge is a tranquil escape on a wooded lot with sweeping views and a feeling of ultimate privacy.
Ideal for groups, the 4,800 square-foot home sleeps up to 28 guests between four spacious bedrooms and a bunkhouse suite. Multiple living areas, including a theater room and newly updated game room, allow for space and privacy.
Styled in modern rustic decor with hardwood floors throughout, the lodge opens with a grand entryway that flows onto an open great room with high ceilings, a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, a majestic spiral staircase and full-story picture windows revealing breathtaking views outside.
Two living areas welcome guests to relax, each with a stone fireplace. Near the entrance, a three-seat sofa and two plush armchairs offer a quiet place to curl up with a book next to the wood-burning fireplace or catch up over the day’s adventures. Beyond this cozy area, a separate living space with a wrap-around sofa and leather armchair surround a gas fireplace.
The great room flows into a gourmet chef’s kitchen with a spacious granite island, two ovens, top-of-the-line appliances and a walk-in pantry. The formal dining room, stylishly decorated with a vintage record player and twin speakers, seats up to eight guests, while three seats at the kitchen breakfast bar provide additional seating for large family dinners.
French doors from the great room open onto a spacious rear deck with panoramic mountain views, lounge seating, propane heaters and a commercial grade stainless steel gas grill, creating a seamless flow for year-round indoor/outdoor entertaining. This deck complements a charming front patio with a wood-burning fireplace and seating.
Just off one side of the great room is a private theater room with custom audio and projector screen, where guests can watch DVDs and DirecTV. To the other side is an office with a large desk and workspace for two. The main level also features a private laundry room just off the hallway leading to the garage.
The lower level, newly renovated in a modern rustic finish with reclaimed barnwood and hardwood floors throughout, boasts a resort-style game room with ping-pong, air hockey and shuffleboard tables, as well as a large-screen TV and sofa.

Set apart from the living area by a private breezeway is the master suite, which has a king-sized bed, gas fireplace, walk-in closet, en-suite bath with luxurious soaking tub and private entrance to the rear deck. High ceilings and picture windows show off mountain views outside.

A second main-level bedroom mirrors the master with a king-sized bed, en-suite bath, high ceilings and private deck access. This room also features a flat-screen with DirecTV.

This bedroom is located upstairs, just off an elegant spiral staircase connecting the great room to a unique circular hallway.
